Why Schools Choose ABK

Not headcount, but enrollment quality — with responsibility that continues after admission.

Institutions value language readiness, document accuracy, and post-enrollment retention. Our company manages all three from both the Myanmar side and the Japan side.

I

A Network of Licensed Local Partners

We maintain multiple partnerships with government-licensed sending agencies and educational institutions in Myanmar, conducting recruitment and screening through fully legal and transparent processes.

II

Pre-Departure Japanese Training & JLPT Preparation

Partner training centers provide JLPT N5–N1 preparation plus kaiwa and interview training — meeting the language-certificate requirement applying from the October 2026 intake onward.

III

Document Quality Control on the Japan Side

COE application documents are individually reviewed by our Japan office — never left solely to the local side — verifying financial capacity and consistency of study plans to reduce rejection risk.

IV

Post-Arrival Retention Support

We support the quarterly enrollment and work-hour check-ins required from 2026, help students stay within the 28-hour weekly work cap, and provide trilingual life support — reducing your administrative load and dropout risk.

Screening & Compliance

As screening tightens, the quality of the referring agent is what's being tested.

Market context: In 2025, Japan's Immigration Services Agency sharply reduced student-visa approval rates for Myanmar language-school applicants, citing documentation problems. An agent's screening capability now directly determines an institution's risk. Our screening framework is designed for exactly this environment.

  • 01

    Independent Financial Verification

Bank statements and remittance capacity are verified by our company independently, not solely through partner documentation.

  • 02

JLPT N5 or Above as an Application Condition

Anticipating the rule applying from October 2026, we require an N5 pass (N4 recommended) before departure as standard.

  • 03

    Structured Motivation Interviews

Every candidate is interviewed to verify genuine study intent, screening out applicants at risk of overwork violations or absconding.

  • 04

    A Documented, Transparent Fee Structure

Both school-side commissions and student-side fees are set out in writing, with no hidden intermediary charges of any kind.

  • 05

    Quarterly Monitoring Cooperation

For the now-mandatory quarterly enrollment and work-hour checks, we support student interviews and multilingual reporting.

Starting from language school, we design long-term pathways to vocational colleges and universities.

Most Myanmar students progress from language school to vocational college or university. We maintain the relationship after enrollment and refer students within your network at each stage.

Stage 01

Language School

The entry point — enrolling at N5–N4 and working toward N2.

Stage 02

Vocational College (専門学校)

Progression into growth fields — caregiving, IT, culinary — referring students who reach N2.

Stage 03

University & Graduate School

Advanced placement including EJU preparation — our medium-term expansion area.

Intake Positioning Approx. Application Window
January 2027 A small, fast-track cohort — fully documented, JLPT-ready candidates available for early placement. Until late Aug 2026 (open now)
April 2027 The main annual intake — partnership discussions with receiving schools are underway now. Approx. Aug–Nov 2026
